In this edition of ZⓢONA MACO, Galería Karen Huber presents a collective booth with the artists Ana Segovia, Othiana Roffiel, Allan Villavicencio, Marc Breslin, and Miguel Ángel Ríos, in which previously unexhibited work produced between2021 and 2023 is being shown. The offering focuses on the question of painting and its multiple possibilities in the contemporary scene; to this end, the curatorial choice is guided by strangeness. This feeling of strangenessis owed to the fact that the pieces in the booth do not fully fit into a static and timeless way of understanding painting. These are works that require a reset in current understanding and pose a challenge to those who face them.
