DREAMS MATTER is a group exhibition featuring works by Andrew Birk (1985, Oregon, US), Eric Valencia (1981, Mexico City, MX), Charlie Godet Thomas (1985, London, UK), Othiana Roffiel (1990, Mexico City, MX), Cecilia Granara (1991, Jeddah, SA), Merike Estna (1980, Tallin, EE), César Rangel (1977, Mexico City, MX) y Keke Vilabelda (1986, Valencia, ES). These artists have been invited to present their pictorial interpretations of dreamlike atmospheres, offering a closer look at the different ways in which each one interprets and constructs the matter that makes up (their own) dreams. The exhibition, a play on words and images, traverses a wide range of narratives and aesthetic possibilities in a space of shared exploration between and international talent.
DREAMS MATTER es una exposición colectiva que muestra obras de Andrew Birk (1985, Oregon, US), Eric Valencia (1981, CDMX, MX), Charlie Godet Thomas (1985, Londres, UK), Othiana Roffiel (1990, CDMX, MX), Cecilia Granara (1991, Jeddah, SA), Merike Estna (1980, Tallin, EE), César Rangel (1977, CDMX, MX) y Keke Vilabelda (1986, Valencia, ES). Estos artistas han sido invitados a presentar sus interpretaciones pictóricas de atmósferas oníricas, proponiendo un acercamiento a las distintas maneras en que cada uno interpreta y construye la materia que conforma (sus propios) sueños. La muestra, un juego de palabras e imágenes, recorre un amplio rango de narrativas y posibilidades estéticas en un espacio de exploración compartida entre talento local e internacional.
